I am a postdoctoral research fellow at the Center for Alcohol, Substance Use, and Addicitons (CASAA). I study the intersection between substance use and social connections. I'm interested in understanding how social relationships influence substance use at an individual level, and at the larger societal level how drug policies impact the health and wellbeing of people who use drugs. I am particularly interested in social capital, peer-support services, and harm reduction. My hope is to implement policies that improve the daily lives of those who use drugs.
